I'm from New York.

I was born in South Carolina, but have lived in Harlem all my life.

I came to Mt. Alphonsus with Feathers, a group of 30 or so women.

I think it was named Feathers because one member came out one morning and found feathers all over the place and it had some spiritual meaning or something.

I don't know.

This is the fifth time we’ve come to Mt. Alphonsus, a little later this year than usual.

I have a son, Corey, who’s 29, who lives in the Bronx, and Manny, who’s 33,
who lives in Ohio with his family.

I have two grandkids.
